Thailand is one of Asia’s largest tourist hot spots thanks to its pristine beaches, culture and the amazing shopping experiences. Out of all the cities, Bangkok takes a prominent place as it is one of the main connecting hubs to Far East Asia. Therefore it has made Bangkok one of the easiest to reach and one of the cheapest cities to travel to. This has given rise to hundreds of hostels in and around this busy city, but it might not be easy to choose the right hostel if you are planning to save some money on your accommodation. First Impressions

This specific hostel is situated in the heart of Pratunam area which is famous for shopping in Bangkok. It is easily accessible from the Suvarnahbhumi Airport if you take the City Line and get off from Ratchaprarop and after that it is just a 10 minute walk through the shopping area. There are a few other hostels on the same street but it won’t be difficult to find. The entrance looks welcoming and the interior is beautiful. Rest of the hostel lives up to the same expectations with the rooms being extra clean. But keep in mind to ask for a room on one of the lower floors as they have five floors of accommodation and yet no elevator which is the only negative about the hostel but that can be due to the limited space.

Facilities

Multiple room options are available, which varies from mixed, female or male dormitories and many of them have prices starting below $10 and a small breakfast is included in the price which is a pretty cool deal. The rooms have limited space as expected but the bedding is of proper sizes and not cramped up and the air conditioner is a life saver. Each person has their own locker which is big enough to even fit in your luggage, but do remember to bring a padlock as they are not provided. Shared bathrooms are available and they are well maintained. They have added a very cost effective finish to the bathrooms but they have done it right as they look very appealing.

Hostel Highlights

There is a dedicated common area on the second floor to chill and socialize with other fellow travelers which is a very cool feature as you can even grab a beer, read a book or play some card games. One hidden feature of the hostel is located on the fifth floor of the building which is a mini rooftop overlooking the city of Bangkok and these are some of the main features of this beautiful hostel. Breakfast is served every morning on the ground floor and it generally includes some cereal, juice, a rice option, a salad and some ham. Even though it is a few basic items, it is more than enough to get your day started.

The staff is very friendly and happy to help with any questions you have. There is a Seven Eleven store and a few other places close by incase you want to buy any essentials. Also as it is situated in the Pratunam area, grabbing something to eat any time of the day is not an issue as there are loads of restaurants and street food vendors in the surrounding. Overall it is located in a very convenient and accessible location, super friendly staff, money’s worth and a pleasant stay is guaranteed.
